The pretty picies & the short version are here

And you know what?

I think I've said all that needs to be said there.

Except I feel like it all never happened.

And guilty (of what I don't know)

And a bit empty.

And, the second I saw her moving like that, I fecking knew it was going to be bad. The second I heard about the lump I got changed to go to the vets for the final deed.

Anyone who really thinks the breeding of livestock is easy, wants to mate their animals just because, think again.

Bugger.

sorry to hear your news mate. I remember when i was about 14, my mother had a irish wolfhound who when she was about 9months whilst running around just dropped down dead. Autopsy revealed a hole in her heart. I remember my mother being devastated, and she's normally pretty tough with having animals die and being put down.

    all the best

Nothing to say except how very sad and to give a virtual hug.

don't know if it's bad form to comment on your own blog, but I wanted to say 'thank you' to jazzy & FA for their kind thoughts.

blimey-it's on today's top of the page. And it's really good, because we've a new girl (& boys) on the home team. She's called Nancy (Sinatra), & I've taken to calling her Nancy Noo Noo. It seemed just natural, & seeing the above (you'll need to follow the link) now I know why!

    Funny how things live on.
