Its a working progress and this is not the finished article. Although this what I would really like to say but I know Eccles will tidy it all up for me. Unless one of you lot want to do it
Yeah I know the're grammer mistakes and stuff but you'll get the general idea. I just had to get this down on paper as it's keeping me awake and I'm very very angry right now.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to to complain about the current school/service bus route that runs from Edzell to Tarfside School. Over the school holidays, without warning, the bus route was changed. For over 15 years the children from one end of the Glen were picked up and dropped off and then the other end of the Glen was collected and dropped off. It would now seem that ALL the children are made to stay on the bus for the enitre journey instead of being dropped off when the bus passes straight past the door.
As my children are the first on the bus in the morning they are made to stay on the bus for nearly an hour when in actual fact they could be dropped off at the school when it passes instead of having to go to the top of the Glen to collect the other children. My Eldest daughter has complained to me from day one that the bus ride makes her feel ill. Every day she returns home telling me she feels sick and does not want to go on the bus anymore.
I’ve rung the council who have very rudely told me that as my children are now out of catchment for the school and that I no longer have any rights as a parent as to where the bus stops. As I no longer have any rights that makes my children normal fare paying passengers on the bus and thus can get off the bus where they like. I have requested that they be dropped off at the school in writing but it would seem that THIS is also not good enough. Now I’m told the council are (in my view) being as awkward as they possibly can and have said that they will only drop my children off outside the school on the left hand side of the road. The school is on the righthand side thus meaning that my 5 and 6 yr old have to cross the road alone. Making it inpossible for them to leave the bus. What would it take to drive into the school? Nothing! your just being bloody minded.
I’ve been told by the council that the reason that this route was chosen was due to the fact that there isn’t always someone at the school?? Really?? In all the years my girls have attended I think I can only recall a handful of times that the teacher has not been there and the bus has just carried on with the rest of the run. Is it really too complicated for the drivers to understand that when the teacher is not there you don’t drop the kids off. What sort of fuckwits are you employing up there?
WTF are you all being so fucking awkward. The journey makes them ill!!! Let them off the bus INSIDE the school gate.s I don’t get what the fucking problem is. Your all just being pedantic jobs worth cuddly wuddly beary beary boos in my opinion. And thanks to you I’m not going to get any sleep tonght stressing about this!!!
The council also told me there was nothing I could do about any of this!! Well We’ll see about that. This letter is going to be passed on to many including the press and my local MP. I will keep going until I get something satisfactory sorted out!!
