Nothing

Can a picture of Nothing be painted with words?
A masterpiece created from a void?
An all encompassing chasm so vast it implodes leaving all surrounding it suspended weightless in a time, space and place that cannot be touched, seen, heard or reached?
A numb, dark, quiet place where only the distant roar of a colossal can be heard and its putrid breath felt wisping across the piece?
An image of something so immeasurable and almost upon the onlooker, yet floating helpless, weightless, alone in the very masterpiece of it's own 'scape.

A depiction not of pain or sadness. Not of misery or of sorrow.
A canvas of simple wandering, of still quiet, loss and of a certain darkness.

And how would the artist of this masterpiece explain his work to a blind man? A man who could not see, and had never seen.
Not a man without the use of his eyes or a man whom had lost his sight, but a blind man all the same.
A man who could see the piece but could not truly see it, a man who wants so badly to see the work. But cannot.
How would the Artist explain Nothing to this man.
