N Reg Mercedes S320 (old style) £500

Pics to come but I'll start with an honest description of both because I'd rather sell them cheap here than deal with some eBay muppet. Neither have tax or MOT but both are safe to drive if you want to get insured and risk it.

Mercedes: Good bits.
N Reg, S320 Limo, like driving a gentleman's club, full electric black leather seats adjustable in a million directions and supremely comfortable. Engine is a cracker, starts on the button after months of inactivity and goes like a flippin rocket, auto gearbox perfect, brand new shocks and brake discs all round, double glazed windows, cruise control, electrically adjustable steering wheel, new wiper relay (£100, these are common failures), huge doors (Limo so they have to be). Tyres have 6+mm on all of them. Pics will say the rest.

Bad bits.
aircon compressor needs replacing, it has a new a/c rad but the compressor vanes are worn, it works on the motorway at steady speeds. Cracked headlight (£40-50 on eBay). The heater fan has stopped working but I suspect it's just a corroded fuse because it was fine before it was parked up. Handbrake shoes need replacing but the park function on the gbox does the same. Engine covers have cracks in, as do other generally unseen covers. It has a little bit of corrosion on one wing, the paint is off but the metal under it is solid.

This car just oozes quality despite the faults and for someone happy to do the work needed, would represent a bit of a bargain as long as they don't do 1000 miles a month. I'm not keen on doing it up myself because an S320 with MOT can be had on eBay for £1500 anyway and I can't guarantee a sale.

£500 for quick sale, collect from Wisbech.

I will add stuff as it's remembered.

I must say, though the insurance would cripple me I quite fancy that.

Though I'd need a pipe too and maybe a cane.

Yeah, well that was the main reason why I decided to sell. Based in Ilford it was £700 with a limited mileage policy on classic insurance, in Wisbech it was much much less, but at the time it wasn't being kept in Wisbech.

It's not really a pipe and cane car, more like a pimp gangstah project, they look well cool with tints and slammed suspension.

Dunno, but my Jeep which will probably be going the same way is worth £250. I don't really want to scrap the Jeep because it has £700 of new tyres on it.

Recently scrapped my trusty but very rusty Transit for £180, would have been £200 but I took loads of bits off.
Don't scrap that car, I don't want it but its too nice to scrap.

Scrap is £180 a ton in our local scrappy ATM. But It'd be a real shame to scrap such a lovely motor.
