Piaggio Zip 50cc Two stroke Scooter

I purchased this from The SpinDoctor for my mate, as she was taking up biking and needed something to try and see if she liked riding, and then to do her CBT on. Now she has done that, this sex machine is now surplus to requirements.

It only done 9186 kms (5707 miles) and this is verified by the MOT's going back to 2006. It is MOT'd until Sept 2012 although it is SORN'd at present (bloody stupid continuous insurance regs). Excellent runner although scuffed panels here and there. Excellent tyres, exhaust and battery. Comes with spare keys, Datatag, and a colour matched Piaggio topbox.

It is standard mechanically (but gets to 30 mph OK), but can easily be derestricted with a few little bits (hacksaw, bigger jet and 4gm roller) and instructions on how to derestrict are all opver the internet. These mods will see it easily cruise at 45-50 mph. Also does 100 mpg, so ideal for a 16 year old or as a commuter to the station/work.

Looking for £300 on here-if it doesn't go then it will be stuck on Gumtree (although this is NOT stolen!)

Maybe able to deliver for cost of my diesel if not in London-bloody LEZ makes my van virtually banned there now. I'm near Braintree in Essex.
