I'm guessing the cleaner only sees around 8 quid of though, i'd bet the agency take a fair bit.

Surprisingly good wages there for cleaning.

Now to convince missus out to get a cleaning job

I assume that is for just a couple hours a week though not full time live in cleaner at that rate?

We play the cleaner 9/hour CIH and the agency get the rest.

Oh, it is only a few hours a week-but then they are bound to have other clients.

Take no notice of the knackers saying they pay x amount of pounds to cleaners , the only reason they do it is to gain favour from the lower ranks , as they see themselves above such mundain trudgery as cleaning

11 quid an hour fucking hill hairy arse . More like 3 quid an hour if the truth be told , oh and as many jam sarnies you can eat

That is as absurd as your suggestion that we are keeping the furren immigrant population afloat by paying them to do those jobs that allow me to do something more valuable with my time.

As it happens, I did look for English cleaners. However, after pouring over dozens of companies and local ads, not one was from our fair land. Not one of the 2 million unemployed represented in my area could be arsed to work for 11 (well, 9)/hour.

In all seriousness, I'm guessing cleaners don't do a full day in the same way as someone working F/T in an office or whatever. They might well be out of the house all day, but they're probably only paid for the time they're actually cleaning, so in an 8 hour day they'll only do 6 hours paid work for example.

That sounds like a pretty lush rate for domestic cleaning. We have Jean the Clean once a week for 3 hours at 8.50 an hour. She's pretty good, and does all the usual stuff including toilets and kitchen, plus vacuuming and dusting the whole house, which, in my dreams, is almost large enough to be called rambling.
