Smile Glow Worm Ultracom 30 CXi Combi Boiler help please

We got one of these in our rented house.

I'm trying to set the on-off periods on a 7 day basis. I got it set for a 24 hour period OK, but can't get it to go to the 7 day bit. The manual I downloaded says, when setting the actual current time on the clock, "the process will automatically scroll to minutes, then days (if the installer sets the 7 day function)".

Apparently, the installer hasn't set the 7 day function. In fact, I can't seem to get the setting current time on the clock thing to happen at all (though the correct time is set atm). Presumably this is why, when I try to set the on-off periods, I can't set it on a weekly basis. Any clue how I activate it? There's no additional hardware next to the boiler, no extra digital panels or anything.

Also - what's a good setting for the radiator temperature on the boiler? I've spotted that if you set the tap water temperature to 40c, it pops up "Eco", clearly where I want to be. What about the radiator? (note I'm not talking about the thermostat in the hall here, I mean the control on the boiler itself). 3 bedroom house with double glazing, draughty at the front door where the thermostat is.

    Thx awfully for replies .

Here's a pic of the control panel. You can't see in the image but below where it says 08:29 there's the days of the week listed, but greyed out.

IIRC, there are jumpers on the back of the controller where you set this option. You should have the installer instructions (as they're supposed to be given to the customer once the job's finished). If not, he may have given them to your landlord.

That did it! Thx Dave. Didn't need to fiddle with jumpers, thankfully. Just looked at service manual and it detailed the engineer's button press sequence to set it up for it. Ta
