Back in school, pretending to be the Beasties, I only ever wanted to be MCA.

Best voice from the beasties. Bit like tuna from J5 ; just found myself trying to rhyme along with that one person.

Rest in peace, but hopefully it won't be too quiet

I used to snowboard to check your head and Paul's boutique is an all-time classic. I have all their stuff already, but have just got the lot again in electronic format and maybe some of those pennies will go to his wife and daughter. I already donate monthly to CRUK, but for fucks sake-fuck cancer.

I was never the biggest fan of the beastie boys.

I never felt that their lyrics were that real, it was more about the beats, and i also could never really take what seemed like 3 middle class white boys jumping around on stage.

I won't knock them though, they were legends in their own right, but not my thing. I never felt any aggression from them, which is a big part of hip-hop/rap music for me.

Still, a sad loss.

Pity. The earlier stuff, based from their punk roots, was quite angry. It certainly crossed-over in to VW badge theft

With such narrow parameters for enjoyment, gm, you'll also be missing out on pharcyde/ jurassic 5 / clouDead etc.

Ill communications and a large bong were bed fellows of mine for years.
