Smile I Might Be Able To Breathe Soon.

For donkey's years, I have had problems breathing through my nose. I bust it 3 times in me yoof and have had 2 ops since, which didn't really do anything.

But this new doc I have been seeing, had me take an MRU scan and he put a probe right up me nose, to see what the problem was. He talked to me at length and he did seem on the ball.

He's doing 2 things. Gonna clear my nose, then do a FESS on my sinuses.

I am now waiting for SWMBO to take me to the Chiltern hospital for the operation this afternoon. It'll be an overnight stay, but it's a fab hozzy, so I'll be fine.

I really hope this one works as it's a right pain not being able to breathe properly.

'Yorick is a mouth breather' non-shocker

Good luck. I've been meaning to get my deviated septum sorted for decades, but I'm a cowardy custard.

Good luck with it. Did he say how successful it was likely to be?

Well, he was confident as he could see what's wrong.

My mate had it done and said if he'd known what it was like beforehand he wouldn't have had it done.
    It wasn't very successful either.

My nose is bolloxed, left side very hard to breath through and when I'm exercising I have to breathe through my mouth, plus I have problems with my sinus's from diving injuries.
My consultant said he'd do an op if I really wanted it, but his advice was to try and live with it for as long as possible because its very unpleasant and not guaranteed by any means.
