I've already sent the e-mail asking just that question, and whether there is a clear coat version, how durable is it against stonechips, high temp's and heat changes.

There is a repair chemical for minor damage on the web site.

I like the idea of this stuff, our car cops a right battering for stone chips 'cos of the motorway miles during winter.

Intrigued if anyone does go for it.

I just bought a Mineral White M3 with a carbon fibre roof in the first place. It just seemed to be easier than buying a car in a different colour to the one I wanted.

Of course that can be an option lol.

I do have other thoughts on it's use!

I'm just having visions of the bloke spraying up the car and then thinking, 'Hmmm...Not seen the cat for a while' and then finding a cat shaped lump under the rubber coating......

Also, if you sprayed it on really thick, you could have an indestructible car.

Could you spray it on your tyres to stop them wearing out?

I'm going to get an order in. I've been fancying a change of colour for the STi for a while now and as this is relatively cheap, hard-wearing and easy to remove, I may as well try it out. Matt white looks favourite atm.

Cool - keep us updated with pics if possible! I'm empted to turn my silver Sebring matte black while keeping the wheels nice and shiny.

I virtually drive past the place a couple of times a week having just had a gander at their website.

I was considering a matt black scheme on the bike, so might give this stuff a whirl myself..

    Interesting stuff!

I wouldn't expect it to look good for too long, but then again if it peels off it doesn't matter.

    May give it a whirl.

Yeah but $60 a gallon that's going to get pretty damned expensive.

Roger. I like the matt black but as mine is a purpley-black colour atm, I fancy a complete departure. I'm going to get a couple of black rattle cans of matt black for the Oz alloys though.

Apparently it's good for 6 - 8 months which isn't too bad. I think 4 -5 coats seems to be the optimum amount so should cost about £250 ish
