What would £148 million quid do to your life?

I'd have a week off to upgrade my V-max.
During that week,Daphne [the dustcart] would be given a makeover,replaced for the week with an agency truck.
When my crew came in the following Monday,Daphne would be gleaming in her new paint.
As we left the yard to start,sat in our newly-appointed cab,Vic could make us all espresso from the newly installed machine.

My crew would have tailor-made ppe,of top quality materials.

I would be perfectly content to carry on being me.
Just-a richer,more independent version.

Because small dreams do NOT mean a small life.

And by doing that,I'd remain sane.

However,anonymously,EVERY fully autonomous [NOT the joint jobs]UK Air Ambulance would be free of financial worries.

£14.8M to my sister as we have a 10% agreement ever since she won £500 at the bingo and gave me £50 of it.

A lump sum to the parents.

I support a local animal sanctuary who pretty much spend all there days fighting to get enough money to keep going so I would support them by paying to have there facilities upgraded and then paying the staffs wages ontop of what they already get to make life better from the 'not for the money, for the love of the animals' job they have currently.

With friends I would not give out lump sums I would agree to match wages.

Personally i'd find myself a hobby I loved. I'd be running my own Race team, building kit cars, training to try and qualify for Ironman Hawaii

Mine would change hugely of course.

I'd be doing lots of cliched things like buying a dozen motorbikes, hiring racetracks for my mates to have a day out on, taking the wife to Monaco in a private jet for lunch. I'd be living the life of pure extravagance with a maid, a butler and a couple of chefs. I'd be unlikely to remain in the UK though for the majority of the time, but it wouldn't matter as my mates wouldn't be working any more either so we could still do lads stuff together

The biggest change would be that it would be the Nanny who would be woken up at 6am by my lad, not me Although saying that, she'd be 18 and Swedish so maybe i'd let her bring him into bed

I'd buy a spot of land, and commission the building of an enormous temple to the Blessed Quantum Field, and pay for two centuries of its maintenance in some kind of trust fund thing.

No-one would be allowed to actually do anything there though. No rituals allowed. No speeches. Just wander round in small groups, talking about something else.

It would look like the Magna Carta monument, I think, but it would be a lot bigger. And made of Welsh slate. And probably sited in Wales.

Right, listen. Right.

I'd set up a special members-only Country Club and Spa type of thing, right.

Where there would special rooms, right, with chesterfield sofas and chairs done in really nice leathers - greens and browns. Right. You know, like ... pucka.

And in those rooms there would be specific areas, cordoned off with like velvet rope things, right, where people could sit and brag and pontificate about their watches.

But they'd all still have to be quiet and respectful when I walked through, because I'd be The Owner.
