Something else has just come to me, check out all new members posts in the last month or so just in case a competitor or someone with a hate of TRC has posted in an obscure thread, I noticed a couple of really old threads pulled up by new members.

That's unlikely, but does bring up the importance of TRCers reporting dodgy posts or links.

I'm using a tablet at the moment so finding it is a bit difficult, but think back to when you ran the competition for NEC tickets. My charity thread won, but second place went to that 34DDwhoever alias with the promise of pics if the thread won. That thread ended up with quite a few naked pictures and links to Porn videos.

I know it was a while ago, but maybe it could be that?

If in doubt blame someone. In pursuit of freedom of speech I prefer Airtanks approach as In how much would it cost to avoid these filters. I for one think it is worth stumping up to avoid being nannied by google.

I will pledge at least £50 for free speech.

How about pictures posted on TRC that are directly linked to random and possibly dodgy or banned by G sites? Could be a picture of a kitten, but if it's hosted by some Russian site that partakes in dubious money making schemes, the G bots might track that back and cause problems.

I get all my pictures from Google.

With what we have done tonight, we have enough to show that we are prepared to clean up where ever it is necessary to do so

I can use tonights actions when I come to appeal this decision when/if Google provides me with their reasoning.

If they are not prepared to alter their decision then I will have to look for alternatives, we have recently put Skimlinks on and there are other advertising networks. The coffers contain enough to keep us going to around the end of September.

For now I am unsticking and closing this thread
