Age... is it important to you

Inspired by a post Savio made on FB.

Is your age important to you*. By this I mean, are you concious of your age. Do you think your age defines you. Does it bother you.

Do you think your age limits what you get up to... by definition

I got knocked back at 43 for a job interview once (after the interview had been booked, but before "Age Discrimination" legislation) for being too old. A mate of mine commented with "Well everyone who knows you, knows you are more 21 than 43

But anyway... open forum

btw I am feeling it a bit these days... but f*ck it

Beckers (40 yrs and 119 months)

I am 49 now and dont think about it that much. Think i still look young for my age and my dick still works. Im happy.

Only when I'm chasing somebody who is 15 years younger and not weighed down by an extra 21lbs of boots and kit.

Couldn't give a monkey for my age, apparently I'm 39 according to the wife, so still young enough to not care maybe in such company but it's not unknown for me to have to tinkle home to find out my age should it come up in conversation.

Back to OPI know how old I am (same as ABNS). Do I look it, nope. Do I feel it inside, nope. Do I act it...well sometimes I do, other times well nope. I enjoy my life as it is and would live it the way I am if i was older or younger, so nope, to me it doesn't matter at all.

I only feel it when I get out of bed in the morning ....... and sometimes when I have to bend down to pick things up1

Memory matters, as does perception and analysis.

But the most important aspects of any soul are intuition, and imagination ...

I don't look like I feel. My age doesn't particularly bother me. I'm not looking for a job. I have one now and I have another to move into that seems pretty interesting. I do have a problem with other people's ages. I mean, 8 yrs old? Already? Last time I looked she was gonna be 6 and looking forward to making some money off the tooth fairy . This aging business just isn't fair.
I blame the parents.

My health pisses me off more than my age, there is a bloke near me about 81 or 2 and you see him out running every day, he has the body of a 20yo fitness fanatic. I have days where doing anything is a hassle and lack of activity means I'm really fat.

Doesn't bother me apart from when I get reminded about it by my back. Quite frankly I'm amazed I'm still alive so its all a bonus.
