Surrounded by the yiddos here at work....long faces everywhere... It's hilarious - they'll be losing at home to Accrington Stanley before long if they keep this up. So only 1 team in premiership history has survived relegation after scoring only 2 points from the opening 8 games.....(Southampton in was it 98-99?)...so that's one relegation spot booked... Who'll bag the other 2?
Indeed we are, the maps are out to find locations like Burnley, Barnsley etc. A bigger bunch of nancy boys you will not find anywhere else in the football league and we will probably struggle in the championship as well. However as a feeder club to Sunderland, you guys get first choice on any of our players - special deal at the moment - Any three of our current players in return for Malbranque - Can we have him back please as he's just the sort of player we are going to need in a relegation dog fight (Oh, we are keeping Hutton and O'Hara but you can have anyone else)
Spurs have got my sympathy. My lot probably won't be playing them next season unless we get a miracle, but we've been there too many times before to have any hopes of one. Oh, and unless something turns around, I bet the barcodes will probably be joining them.

Going to make the championship even more friggin' difficult if the Toon and Spurs go down. I'll book Stoke in for the last place then I was reading somewhere that out of the 24 championship clubs, 16 of them have previously been in the Premiership, i.e. since 1992. So much for bouncing clubs.

Ramos [snigger] - Redknap [chuckle] - Bolton [ho ho ho]
Shame. I quite liked Ramos, not bothered either way by Spurs before you ask, but he made some dreadful decisions at the end of last season. Clearing out a lot of regular players w/o having any decent replacements has got be a daft move.
To be fair, I don't think Ramos had a lot of choice on the players in and out, and he looked a bit out of his depth in the Premier league. Still, he's not exactly short with the pay off he got and will soon get a job back in Spain
