    Default Speedo light on GS500

    Hello!

My speedo light on my GS500 (K4) has gone.

    Does anyone know

    a) what bulb I need to replace it? I'm sure they are not hard to come across, but I would like to get one in advance of taking it all apart, so that I don't have to dis-assemble twice

    b) how much of a faff is the job?

I don't want to take it all apart and end up harming the speedo, as I have my bikesafe ride out soon, and the last thing I want is a police bike following me with a dicky speedo.

    thanking you

Looks like you just need to take the shroud off the back of the clocks ...

and wiggle the lampholder out - they're rubber push-fit jobbies.

    lamp #13 is 12V, 1.7 Watt T10. I think (don't quote me) that T10 means it's 10mm dia.

    These ....

    are 12v, 3 Watt 9.5mm dia.

Any car spares emporium should have them
