    Cool WSBK: Donington

    Good racing in WSBK today.

Laverty's bike looked a bit second hand when it arrived back in the garage:

And despite it seeming to be Johnny Rea steaming into a gap which wasn't on that last bend incident, it seems Leon is blaming Marco - and according to Twitter, Johnny and Leon just had a beer together in the motorhome. Cosy!

I think things will be a bit frosty in the BMW garage at the next round.

I'm still not quite sure how it wasnt Rea's fault By the sounds of it everybody is blaming Marco and yes it was his ridiculous attempt at a pass that started the whole thing, but when Rea made that pass Leon had absolutely nowhere to go as he was already totally committed?

On the other hand I cant actually see where else Rea could have gone, as he was already half committed and he would have struggled to get round the outside of Haslam.

Hey ho, whatever, still feel absolutely gutted for Haslam.

To be honest I recon there should be a few slaps handed out in the BMW garage. Leon has been there for a couple of years and done them proud, Marco comes in as number 1 off sponsorship, is out performed by Haslam all pre season and for the first couple of rounds, then starts putting a fair few dodgy passes on him. When they came 3rd and 4th a few rounds back it was marco bashing him out of the way that secured him a 3rd, not a safe pass at all. Donnington race one was Marco's wobble and early braking that cost Leon the win. I think a slap, slap calm the fuck down Marco would be good, but we all know it's racing and never gonna happen. Just hope Leon gets the best of him by the end of the season!!

The gap was there for Rea,created by Melandri's attempt from way too far back. Any racer worth his salt will do exactly what Rea did and Haslam will know that. Melandri is at fault because he started the wrecking ball swinging.

Yup...... Haslam missed the apex taking avoiding action from melandris hail mary attempt that was never going to work.... That left the apex completely clear so Rea took the racing line as Haslam came back in trying to get a late apex only to find Rea sat there. As Haslam was right on the limit the slightest touch had him off. Melandri was throwing in "tough" moves all the way through but that last corner attempt was from way way back and just invited a crash

    Corser wasn't impressed:
“@TroyCorser11: Sure Marco was going for the win.25 points .but.safe second.20points.another 1-2 for TEAM BMW..and be only 4 points from leading. Not smart”
