Long shot, driver and advice sought?

As I say a real long shot but has anyone got a driver for a Bell & Howell Filemaster Scanner+?

The scanner is actually a rebadged Minolta PS 7000 but it wont work with the available Minolta driver? Device manager finds the scanner as a B&H FM+ Is there anyway I can get the PC (XP PRO) to accept the minolta driver?

Try DriverGuide.com (printer drivers, cdrom drivers, modem drivers, sound drivers, mouse drivers, monitor drivers, etc.), it's free to register.

What do you mean it won't work? What have you done to try to make it work? Did you delete the B&H driver(s) from system32 before rescanning to prevent auto installation?

Photoshop sees the sanner as a PS7000 in the import menu but cant find it when you select it? In device manager it displays the scanner as the B&H FM+ and not the PS7000?? It then wont update teh driver if you point it top the downloaded PS7000 one? Its clearly seperating teh two scanners in some way yet one is simply a rebadged version of the other.

In Device Manager, right click on the driver and choose Properties/Driver/Driver Details, note the location and name of the file. In Device Manager, right click on the driver and choose Disable. Rename the file you noted. In Device Manager uninstall the driver then scan for changes. Point the wizard to the PS7000 one. If that doesn't work then just rename your old B&H driver file back to what it was and allow it to reinstall.
