I have an iPad with pages loaded onto it. Wifey sent her CV in Pages format, for me to review, so attached it to a ...

    I have an iPad with pages loaded onto it. Wifey sent her CV in Pages format, for me to review, so attached it to a email.
    Can I opening it, no, not a chance!
    Tap on it the old circular egg timer thing starts, then just stops . And nothing happens.

    Google search doesnt seem to bring anything up , any suggestion?

    I seem to remember that pages is basically a zip format with a pdf in it.... can you rename the file to something.zip and then use an unzip app to get at the pdf inside?

    I think it should be possible with a decent file manager app, but I can't recommend any from previous experience.

    Have you tried tapping on the share icon? That should bring up a list of apps to open in.
