Of course they don't cause violence. Violent game players are 34 years old on average. 80% of under-17 were refused violent games in the US. When you want to kill your schoolmates, it's easier to get guns than shoot'm ups.

Depends how pedantic you want to be; 78.2% of those that don't show what they claim to show are close enough.
