Office 07 And Win 8

No compatibility issues are their? Nipping round to someones tomorrow to sus out a installation problem they are having.

Not to sure yet. She borrowed the disk two days ago and as i never heard anything i presume she was ok. Just got an email at tea time to say help. I think the laptop (new) had a trial of 2010 in it so no doubt she has not taken that out.

I may see part of the problem, at least...

Not done it myself but I've heard it goes more smoothly if the architecture is the same. i.e. 64bit office for 64bit windows.

2003 runs & updates fine on win8 32bit FWIW. It shouldn't according to MS, but forums say it does & so it proves to on my own laptop.

Got it thanks. She did not delete the 2010 trial. At the start of windows 8 when you have what looks like an app page open. On that she had the 2010 icon but it just said office and was clicking the wrong one. Had she scrolled to the right she would have seen her 2007 icons.

Bloody Win8. It was the blind leading the blind till i noticed search.
