Default USPS First Class Mail International - delivery time from USA?

I've seen something on eBay I might buy.

It's in the States and they offer delivery by 'USPS First Class Mail International'.

Anyone know how long that'd take to get to me (in the Uk)? The seller's not sure and USPS's website doesn't say...

about 1 week if HMRC don't bother with it, and about 2 weeks if they do as it then has to go to a handler usuallyParcel Farce and then they charge you for the pleasure.

    Oo oo! Me sir!

It matters not 1 jot whether you get it sent 1st/different class, the delay is with customs

USPS seem to attract customs. global whatsitcalled don't.

I ordered something that cost 350 from the US on May 2nd. It arrived in the Uk on the 12th and then was in customs until today. The chitty for "fees" should pop through my door tomorrow. cuddly wuddly beary beary boos

Can't talk for USPS, MLSP, but had to send some documents to Saudi late last year. Used DHL and they were there in four days.

Guess all these "big" courrier companies offer a similar type of service, but import formalities are likely to precipitate a delay.

I sent something recently to the UK and it took about 4 days. It will leave the US in 1 or 2 days depending on how early you get it to the post office. I used Fed Ex at Christmas time and the package arrived at it's destination in the UK on the second day.
