Default Can I view TRC the old way?

Since the latest version of the forum software has taken effect my preffered method of viewing TRC has now changed to a way I don't like!

I like to view the forum with a click on the Whats new? tab which then used to show a list of all the threads with new posts since my last visit. The new software shows individual new posts. My brain can't cope with viewing posts out of context. Is there anyway I can revert to the old method?
