I was just looking through the xmas pressie thread and saw a lot of you got books

I've read a few (Lance - It's not about the bike, Bad Blood etc etc) I've just finished Tyler Hamiltons Secret Race on the plane home...

But... before I read Hamiltons book, I read this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Race-Madmen-...7295029&sr=8-2

It's a great read... but more importantly, it puts the whole history of doping within the Tour in perspective. Interestingly its only about 2/3rds of the way in does the author reveal he is the nephew of Tom Simpson

I was wandering around my wife's home town in the USA (her dad is one of those folk you need to get a breather from lol) and found an old Greg LeMond book; Complete Book of Bicycling in a second hand bookstore for $2.
Pretty interesting stuff but a little dated, think it was written in the late 80s?

Anyway, seem she takes a pretty scientific approach to cycling - gonna try setting my saddle/stem position with his guide and try his training schedule once the weather gets good enough to go out in the evenings for decent rides.

    Worth $2 anyway

Read Millar's, then Rough Ride then Seven Deadly Sins, having read Stephen Roche's Born to Ride. All kind of circular in a way.
