New D300!!!

New (to me) D300 arrived this week. 30k clicks, £330 delivered. Very nice, very solid, and much better than the D60 it replaced. Hooray. Now, just got to figure out how to use it properly. It works quite a bit differently to the D60, and has a lot more complex toys on it.

I'm almost decided to finally upgrade my ageing EOS 40D for a 6D. Just need to finally press the 'buy' button. Oh, and sell 2 of my 3 lenses and buy replacements.

If you will end auctions at 2.15 on Christmas day... Similar ones were going for £380 or so just a few days previously, and I did have a mint one lined up from LCE in Reading for £430, which I thought was a very reasonable price. So I was made up to be getting one for £330.

I replaced my dying D50 with a D300s a couple of years ago, anything like me and you'll fall in love once you get used to it.
