That's the sort of plan. Lot of space under there. I just need to be mindful there are some ventilation slots for the living room suspended floor. Oh and I need to keep foxes out!

Arches would fit into the gaps in option 3 if that is what you want, they don't need to be structural just architectural.

By the by, what you driving these days - theres a few bricks (possibly 50 or more) dumped round the corner from my digs, blue in colour so might be engineering bricks but might be a good contrast option for the arch. Let me know and I'll point you at them or grab a pic tonight so you can see what there is.

Blue sounds interesting. Still got the old Passat but it's full of ESD bench at the moment. Blagged a spanky new workbench from work, along with a few optional extras like a six foot long mains extender. Picture would be handy.

Will mock up some arches in sketchup. I lost all the above when I tried to intersect an arch with a brick front. Too many pythons I think. Crash. Lost. Good job it's sch a quick tool to use.

    Thread Crash..

Any idea on the rough costs per M2?
I'm not gonna clutter your thread with things I need to get done, but this gives me a dastardly devious way of maybe achieving a job I may need to get done soon

Don't know yet but those short beams are a tenner, blocks are 46p each (iirc) and concrete is as cheap as mud.

I'll wager the longer beams are more expensive beyond a certain lenght but I haven't costed it yet coz I haven't decided. Option 3 is looking most likely.

    £20 per square metre??

    Screwd.

Feel free to jump in; if it's decking/flooring/sketchup whatever, probably will be info I'm interested in too.

    Thanks for that.
I'm looking at, playing with ideas for a cheap shed / garage floor that's quick to lay and most importantly removable and to some degree reusable.

I'd do it all in wood TBH. Posts into the ground at the front set in muck.
    Aren't you overengineering? Looks tiny.

Those look like concrete paviors rather than proper bricks.
