That is apart from the fact its in Manchester and I'll get shot or stabbed or mugged if I go there. Tell me why that a certain headlight etc should put me off buying it? Why do you streetfighter haterz presume your race rep style bike is so much better, when its probably less practical and usable as an every day bike?

It looks to me like this is not so much a request for opinion on the bike, as fishing with a snarky-flavoured-line, in the pool inhabited by sportsbike riders .

On its own, this particular bike looks ok to me. In general though, the fightered look, unless taken beyond straight bars and a pair of aftermarket lights, screams "I crashed the bike and fairing panels are expensive".
I doubt a TL without the aerodynamics will be any more practical or usable than a TL as it was designed.

If you like the bike though, buy it. Don't worry about what sportsbike riders think about your new bike.

Be mindful also however, not to be found to be pre-emptively slinging shit at a group of people you may already have had run-ins with. It's not a way to avoid run-ins, Mr Tiepin , nor will it help you be seen to rise above such arguments.

Partly because the bidding ended (0 bids) 7 minutes after you posted

but mainly because you should never have any dealings with people who use that font, in that size, in capitals

For sure, its not the really type of headlight thats often the problem with streetfighters, its the fact that the owner often bodges the fuck out of the wiring behind that light in order to "tidy it up" and get it out of sight.

There's also a few problems with bikes designed to have a faired in/partly pressurised airbox when some chap removes the fairing. ZX9R anyone?

Still, workshops a bit quiet and could do with a few threads about a project so I reckon you should get it. Looks ace

Buy what you want Types but that bike looked like dogshit and that was without even reading the ebay ad

I'm sure the seller cobbled together his words with as much care and panache as he did that rotten Suzuki.

Read it- font is retarded and in ridiculous headache typeface. He says it's "stupid quick". Is that a Freudien slip? Who's he trying to sell it to, not anyone familiar with the TLS or it's ilk, I'm guessing someone with a scooter or someone on the estate who knows how bikes are "dead quick- even quicker than a non-turbo impreza!".

Asides from that, that looks ropey as all hell EVEN in ebay pics Lord knows what it looks like IRL because we all know ebay pics are the equivalent of soft lighting, vaseline on the lens and 2 bottles of cheap red when it comes to softening up a very rough blow.

Doesn't look too bad. Apart from the flat bars and no mirrors.

At least with the top half of the fairing and original lights there's less chance that some gonk has fecked the electrics up.
Although the "geezah" blue light covers would have to be laid to rest in a container marked Bin.

    So paint it.

And the fairing means decent lights (as Demo said), not pants ones like most aftermarket ones are.
