    When the lock doesn't work?

Headlights failed on the way home tonight and the main fuse had burnt out/ melted with water getting into everything over the last few days. I've had to cut it out and solder in a new fuse holder.

However in putting it all back together I've done something wrong. The seat lock isn't working and now I can't get the seat off. I'm guessing the cable for the lock has slipped off or something.

How the heck do I get the seat off?

Got a manual? If not look online for one and get a view of what you need to get at, then play the jiggery pokery game..

Thanks everyone for the help/suggestions. I was able to release enough bits bit get my fingers in to realise the cable had come off, so I got a pair of thin nosed pliers on it eventually and pulled.

    Normal order restored.
