Anyone owned a 2006 1000/or is it 1100 Monster?

I think I can get a good deal on one but never owning a Duc before am wondering what I should look for while possibly buying?

If its a 2006 monster it'll probably be an S2R with the single sided swingarm, is that right? (Or possibly the water cooled S4R)

If so I think Murcan has one ( I have an 800), generally they are quite reliable motors. If you have E10 fuel then you might want to check the plastic tank is secure and not deformed or swollen. Decent service record always helps, belt changes are done on a mileage OR two year time intervals so ask when the last one was done and if they cant tell you factor a change into the price.
