    Default ladies bike gear

Need to get my GF some better biking gear. She struggles to get into normal sized stuff. She hovers between a 6 and an 8 and has 36 inch inside leg (ding dong!) Without going for made to measures, does anyone know of any manufacturers that make weemin's gear with varying leg lengths? Most of the smaller sizes seem to be made for short arses.

Joe Rocket used to do different lengths but don't know if they stretch to that tall. I know Billie struggled to find gear to fit her height and 35 inch inside leg but can't remember the make and the one photo I have doesn't show any logos , sorry

Difficult to say really; can you post some pictures up so we can get a better idea of size?

IIRC Furygan do (or did anyway) different leg lengths.

    This is the correct answer!!

To be serious though, she may have to go with custom made. When my Missus was riding she couldn't find anything that fit. Only tip is for off the shelf stuff go textile instead of leather. She may look a bit bulkier but it is an alternative.

btw....wheres those pics of 36 inch legs?!?!?!?
PS: I distinctly remember now the Missus complaining about crotch ass fitment as even the so called female garments seem to still be made on the masculine side.....dunno but maybe the place that made them thought every female on a bike was a dyke?

    Cheers for comments.

Rukka is good stuff, but hideously expensive! Though might last better than the cheaper stuff I've had before.

Been pointed at Held as a good (though not exactly cheap either) brand with varying lengths.

I know this thread is useless without pics etc, but she'd have my guts for garters. Garters....giggedy.

Usually ladies' leathers in smaller sizes are made for the large of arse but dwarf-carroted of leg

Leathers with best 'generous legs : smaller body' ratio I've found are Dainese - might be worth a try. Although Dainese leg lengths seem to vary randomly anyay. My older 1-piece has longer legs than the newer one for some reason.

Someone I know bought a nearly-new Spidi 1-piece (size 8 ) very reasonably off e-bay and got the legs lengthened above the knee by a couple of inches - she was very pleased with the result (doesn't matter if the lower leg is a bit short as this is covered by your boots - as long as the knee armour is in the right place).

I've often got stuff altered to fit by my friendly leather-alteration lady (highly recommended ).
