New bike thread .... The craziness continues...

Decided to keep the Superduke as the hooligan bike and to pick up something else for our trip....

I ran through LOADS of various scenarios.... but in the end i decided to use my head rather than my rose tinted glasses.

I almost bought a 1998 Blade last night, which was the same model/colour etc as my first Blade, first knee down, first trackday and first race.... but he wanted too much money

So... i bought this !!!!

I'm sure it'll be a Honda enough bike, fast enough to damage the speed limit and well enough handling. I've rode and been knocked off a VFR750.

I like them suprisingly, having one European bike that is high maintenance is enough, a second bike that isn't like my CBR600 or this VFR is spot on.

99.9% of Japanese bikes could be called bland appliances and all fit the bill of good second bike, you will ride this quicker than your SD

LOL for his ability an easy to ride bike is probably the best thing for him, I agree tho if it makes the trip I'll be amazed

Sounds lovely when opened up ... but the most boring bike I've ever ridden... I'm not being picky either... I rode this after I got off my old GSF600 Blandit

(couldnt wait to get back on the Blandit either!)
