The powerband is inside the engine, so you have to open it up to see what colour it is (unless you have the fitter's invoice and you trust the mechanic who did it). The thing is, even a fast powerband (the red ones) wouldn't be much use without a flux capacitor. So, buyer beware.

There's a thriving underground market on Bikechatforums for powerbands, especially the coveted carbon fibre ones.

Grand Master Savio, Almighty Workshop Overlord, Supreme Leader of the Seized Bolts, Guardian of the Holy Spanner of Antioch himself taught me everything I know. That means, even though my knowledge is only a microbe in His ocean of Mechanical Science, I have the answers to all the questions you could ask.

I just don't know if they are right.
