Nice to see everyone again
Nice to meet everyone, I got afew pics I'll load up later. great location for a meet, really easy to find/get to and from and looked a great place. Hope it's warmer for you all tonight.
If you run out of firewood, set fire to smixy's car
Had a great run back but wtf £1.509 a litre for super unleaded! Petrols expensive tup north. Had a run down the m6 toll and a play with an amg merc. I think he hit his speed limiter.
Nice to see some of you I haven't seen for years!!! Hope it isn't too cold tonight for the campers!!
had a leisurelyride back and stayed dry, maybe next time I'll bring a tent!!
Was good to meet you guys, will be camping next year.![]()
Indeed, nice to meet old faces --- I mean, faces I've seen a few times before; you are all beautiful people with ever young fresh faces; check you attics for a strange painting ---, and to put new faces on new names --- I mean, you've had your faces for a bit, and your names for the same bit, it's just that they are new to me.
Having quickly bored everyone with how important the colour of a frame really is, my mission was accomplished and I left for a good run down the twisties. Stage one run-in is now complete, not before I made an AMG SLS owner feel slightly inadequate (among others). Shame I couldn't tell him I was running at less than 50% of max power.
And whoever brought this superb 400, you have no right to show a 11,000 miles bike that is so utterly impeccable that it makes my 500 miles bike look tatty. No, seriously, I'm impressed.
I was equally impressed by how grim it can be up north, but nothing the warm atmosphere of friendship can't dispel, starting with Olly & Silly Car's impersonation of trustworthy car mechanics. Well done to them for reminding us what this is about.
I missed you early birds but just got back to the Travel Inn. Lovely to meet so many personalities finally. Hope it's not too cold out there tonight. Thanks for a great fire RB and Olly.
Just checking the merc forums expecting to see " there's something wrong with my AMG SLS, it felt like it was going backwards today" thread.
Who had the Pan European? Someone said it had 300K miles on the clock, that put my bike to shame. You lot have far too shiney and clean bikes.
Freezing weather, rain, stoney ground and I've never seen a brake piston ground away so much before, nor such a well organised toolkit. Top work chaps.
Sorry - bit dark inside.

The "Do you want Stuffing?" moment.
At no point was this child let loose with a felt tip pen and stickers. With that innocent face?
