That's the super dooper Ergo seat, which unless one comes up 2nd hand i can't see myself getting. It ain't cheap. But lovely.

I disagree. Thats fecking cheap for a comfort seat. You seen the price of Mustangs, Corbins etc!

Only cheap if you have the 116 lying about... Which we could argue i could have bought instead of the decals But that's a pointless argument, because i didn't.

I've not actually tried one of the seats to decide if it's better for me or not. I VERY rarely ride more than 50 miles in a journey, so comfort isn't a major concern.

On my Harley seat, after an hour/30 mile commute my arse was numb and my hips ached!? I was advised that a Mustang seat would cure it, but it was a good few quid and I was reluctant. In the end I bit the bullet and bought one. Sat on it and though Meh! What a disappointment!! Just a fairly solid lump of foam. I'd expected to sink into plushness. Odd thing was, it just stayed like that and just never got uncomfortable! But, like you, if I hadn't had been uncomfortable on the OEM seat I'd never have bough it.

I've done 130 miles odd at a time on the 690 and it's not too bad. Bit of arse ache but a lot of that is not being bike fit, and my bum needing a break by that sort of time anyway.

I bought the 'comfort' seat for my 390. Memory foam or something. It was horrible. I sold it on as despite the standard one being a little bit solid, it was more comfortable to actually ride the bike with it. Long distance, maybe the comfort seat would have been nicer but as I rarely did much in the way of distance, it was pointless because it made it difficult to move around on the bike

Last pic from a nicer perspective and the bike is now covered and put away for the winter

I really don't like it, but it's not my bike so who cares, I thought those 3 near vertical white stripes on the tank were where you had it temp stuck on with insulation tape

However the oil sticker on the clutch cover being a different radius to the clutch cover is really urine boiling

Looks good now I reckon, the white mudguard really threw the lines off but the black one sorted it.
The only thing I could pick at is the side rad cover, the blue bit at the bottom looks a bit lost on it's own, but it's not that bad.

Nah. I like what i have. To make it fully black it needs the subframe painting black or a black/orange one from the later model.

What i have is pretty much unique and very much 'me' so i'm most happy
