    Hi All,

I have just recently joined the forum, so this is my first post.

I have a 1977 Yamaha DT175 why I am planning to restore over winter.
My model is the 1G1 which was the last of the twin shock absorber models.

I think some time during its life it has been 'Converted' to a field bike meaning all the electrics have been removed.

What I'm after is a photograph of how the rear indicators are attached to the bike.
I think there should be a bracket attached to the frame but mine has none and was wondering if these have ben removed as well.

If anyone has this model of bike and would not mind, could you send me a close up picture of where the rear indicators are attached please?

    Regards,

    Mark

Stick around we'll try to help, the exhausts for DT175s were rocking horse shit 20 years ago.

    Looks like Taipan has one

I would hire one quite often as the bike breaker in the 80's Edinburgh (Alvins) rented them out quite cheap. I remember going over the tay bridge and the head vibrating lose. Got to the other side and lucky had a small tool kid that let me tighten it up. Greap bikes though and welcome.

I learnt to ride on the roads on a monoshock...pokey little 2 stroke engine I spun the rear wheel up once being a bit ham fisted- I weighed 7 stone dripping wet at 17.
Saw one at the tea hut in Epping a few years ago - everyone wanted to look at it.
    Bing images ?
Edit - it's not that easy is it .....
