I've found enough green lanes to keep me busy but can anyone recommend some open areas or an enduro park or similar within an hour of Nottingham, preferably one that's open midweek and has a pay and play type use ?

    Are you buying the CRF250?

If so, what's the mods to increase power that you mentioned?

CRF needs a fuel module and air box mods for another 4 or 5 hp, costs about 150 so more than worth it, also one tooth off front sprocket. That's all you need, more power means a faster bike

Couchcommando, my advice is to find areas off byways where no one bothers you. I know of a few such areas and they are great for skills practice. If anyone comes up and tells you that you aren't supposed to ride there just say you are lost and be apologetic. Works a charm!
