    ...hence the large bifold doors. But I'll just be running a forge in there, on the concrete plinth next to the brick wall. The rear plywood section is still "open" and I'll cut out a large vent for all the unwanted heat/gasses to escape. Just need to redirect it away from the bitumen roof!

    I only have a coal forge, but due to the impressive flu it rarely gets above warm once i'm away from the fire. One of the doors is always open or the fire smokes. Dont gas fires cause a load of condensation? worth some airflow to avoid that.

    For camera mounting, can you rig an anglepoise-type arrangement which can be hung from the ceiling where you need it and allow easy adjustment. Save tripping over a tripod.
