I was lapping 2m21 - 2m25 depending on traffic and how wrong I got a corner. Is that respectable for first time there?

A couple of my friends were there yesterday, one on a ZX7R and the other on some cobbled together GSXR thing

His son crashed the GSXR thing - the short old sweary git with grey hair was Chris Tombleson from Grumpy 1260 - he's a great person to know if you've got an old Japanese superbike, very helpful and does performance parts at reasonable prices.

They were next to us, made a mess off the gsxr, ground the left hand casing through, shame as it looked nice

I've only been to Snetterton once and I'd love to ride there. Its a bit tied up emotionally for me as my first visit was to watch friends racing a couple of days after my riding buddy died. But I'd love to go and ride or race there Having family not too far away that I could stay with on the way home is a bonus

I love Snetterton 300 prob my fav track now and it's my 2nd closest. I used to prefer Brands but that's such a short lap whereas Snetterton now has the twistes to make it interesting as well great big fug off straights.

I think my fav is Cadwell, but then it's probably Anglesey... but I think the weather has to be right. I'd imagine Anglesey in anything other than glorious sunshine would be a bit pants.

Aye, but in some places the rain is more depressing than others.

When it's wet and horrible at Anglesey you know about it, same as Pembrey, it's because they're so near the coast.

I enjoy riding on a freshly soaked track, but rain stopped.
