    With effect from May 6th 2017 DVLA will now forward your information to a requesting country if you have committed a driving offence in a EU country.

    Ah the cross border enforcement directive

    Fines follow you home if they are €70 or more - the low fine in France is €68 but depends on the limit you are in and the speed you are doing as an example

    I'm buggered if I knew how they did it! Obviously the French flic is smarter than the German Bulle who to this day measures your speed from the front without taking a piccie from your license plate Damn inconvenient, if you ask me...

    thats because both countries were already signed up - mind you that's under the specified €70

    Good. One was the equivalent of 40 in a 30 going up a large hill. Took me long enough to get speed for the bloody hill i was not slowing down.
