With effect from May 6th 2017 DVLA will now forward your information to a requesting country if you have committed a driving offence in a EU country.

Fines follow you home if they are €70 or more - the low fine in France is €68 but depends on the limit you are in and the speed you are doing as an example

I got a €45 fine forwarded from France to Germany.
Still awaiting a few speeding ones from Germany last year.
I'm buggered if I knew how they did it! Obviously the French flic is smarter than the German Bulle who to this day measures your speed from the front without taking a piccie from your license plateDamn inconvenient, if you ask me...
