I must say that does seem very light.

Once the Daytona is out i'm going to have space for a new project.... (and can't afford an Ecomobile yet) so it may yet happen.

I don't have any eclectic bikes. They all have petrol engines.

When I bought my V50 the choice was red or that silver-grey. I said to the salesman when placing the order : "Oh, forgot to say, 'red' please".

He replied that he'd already put it down as red, because "No-one ever wants the silver"

I can't quite get excited about them. There was also a V1000 Convert there which was lovely, although very well used. I haven't owned a Guzzi yet but think I need to have a big bore version first.
850 T3 californias seem to be going for big money so I reckon the V1000 convert is the best value Tonti framed option out there:

My favourite lightweight Italian of the same era is the Morini 500 sport. the 3 1/2 is cuter but I'll take the big brother

I like the look of them, but left foot kickstart? No thanks.

I hear the electric start versions are a bit dodgy although have no personal experience.

I have no input to this thread, but here's a centauro made to look like an MGS-01...

Had to look twice at this pic of a gathering of Italians at my brothers place (NZ). My bro' has the 1200 sport, his neighbour has an MGS-01

    Bought this one:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Moto-Guzzi...19.m1438.l2649

which I think is reasonable at just under 1500. It ran well as its ex-owner brought it home to me.

    Now let the rumpus commence!

Is that rack to help it wheelie? Looks a bit far back. I think it might induce a front wheel wobble if you load it up.

It seems to look further back in the photos than in real life. It'll only ever have a cheese sarny in it.....
