    Default Sold

    For sale. 1,000 ono.

My tidy 2005 Triumph Sprint ST 1050 with 25,000 miles on the clock.
Unused and SORN for the last 6 years.

I bought this bike with 7000 miles on the clock and commuted 60 miles a day on it for a few years until a change in circumstances. Since then it has been stored under cover in my garage.
It's rarely been rolled out since and probably hasn't been turned over for 5 years.

I've priced it with a good idea of what needs to be done to get it back on the road.

The pictures were taken about 5 1/2 years ago and as you can see it's in great condition for it's year and age.

This would be the perfect buy for someone who knows their way around a box of spanners and could be worth north of 2,500 given a little bit of tlc.

This is the only place my bike is advertised at the momen so pm me if you are interested

There is nothing wrong with it. It will just need a little bit of TLC.

If I was putting it back on the road.
    Drop and replace all fluids.
I suspect the injectors will be waxed up with old fuEl so clean them up.
Tyres are ok but I'd still replace.
    New chain and sprockets.
Pots will be dry to so I guess some oil down the plug sockets and a manual turn over before cranking it over on a battery.
Battery will need charging or replacing. I've got 2.

It will be sold as seen and will need a van or trailer.

I'd be very tempted by this, were it not the bike that current non-MOT'd bike that needs TLC in my garage.

It rode perfectly when I took the pictures about 5 1/2 years ago.
You could of course just stick a bit of oil down the pots and turn it over manually before starting it.
It may take a bit of patience to start it after all these years.

IMO, it would pass and MOT.
All the other things I've noted were just what I would do If I was to put it back on the road.

Well, I'm now wondering if I should let Lostboy take it, I'm only buying it to tart up and turn a profit, if he actually wants it to own and ride, that would be fairer all round?

Not too sure how to edit this thread as sold

    confused.com

With Weeksys reputation for a clean bike it will be well worth looking out for this when he eventually sells it.
