    Default BMW K1200R, 2006, 20,000 miles

    DETAILS AT APRIL 2019
    Current Mileage ~23000.
    Current Price £3350
Bike was fully serviced at 22,491 (receipt available).
New tyres (Z8 Interact) fitted at approx 22,900 miles, very, very little wear.
Bike was stored in dry garage throughout 2018. I put it back on the road last week, so a fresh MOT is in the documents package, with just a notice about the rear pads (they're very difficult to check, but there's plenty there).
The K1200R is Euro3 compliant so has a free pass for the Central London ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone).

Will be putting on Ebay again soon.

I'm looking to sell the K1200R that I bought last May.

The bike currently has about 23K on it (I've put on a couple of thousand since the photos were taken), and has good tyres and pads. It's in excellent condition and still has all the power from that monster motor!

While I've had the bike I've had the front suspension Ball-Joints replaced (equivalent to the steering head bearings on a normal bike), and the Cam-Chain tensioner assembly (a commonly required upgrade). (Receipts from Vines, Guildford available)

I've also fitted a pair of R1200GS Handguards which help to keep the weather off your hands (very easily removable if they're not your preference), a Fender Extender to the front mudguard, and done the 'Fuel neck mod' which allows for approx 1.5 ltr extra capacity if you use it.

I'll also throw in the water-resistant BMW Tankbag that I acquired for it.

I'll be looking for £4,000 oVno and the sale will be going onto Ebay very soon (once I get some good photos taken).
If you're interested, please PM me (or reply below).

    More Photos Here : https://www.flickr.com/photos/rockbu...57681190993743

The bike has been no trouble at all (punctures excepted!) and will still throw itself along the road at stupid speeds if you so desire.

RB is the Fuel neck mod where you drill some breather holes high up on the filler neck?? Its one thing that irritates me! PLus an extra 30 miles or so would be handy when touring!

Yup - very, VERY easy to do on the K. Gives me an extra 1.5 - 1.7 litres (estimated) which is enough for about another 15-20 miles I think.
On the Rockster it gave me a bit more (due to the tank shape I think) and the bike was very easily 200+ mile capable.

Itís a cracking bike you are selling and has been on my Ďwantí list for several years - how comes selling to get another Rockster? Different riding experience Iím sure - the boxer twin sure has more character?

That's an awful lot of bike for not very much money. I'll put the word out.

Yup, got another Rockster, so the K, great though it is, is surplus to requirements.
