Didn't see this before, but the Tu Go app that allows calls and texts over wifi is closing tomorrow.
I can only use my phone in the house over wifi.
Three and EE get intermittent service in the house.

At most friends' houses there is no mobile signal.
I've found the Vodafone Sure Signal not to be ever so reliable.

Anyone know if the other networks have wifi calls/texts available?

    O2 say:
With O2ís launch of Wifi and 4G Calling on many current and new devices, it now means that you can make and receive calls whenever you are connected to wifi without the use of an additional app.
The following phones will allow you to make a wifi call wherever you have a wifi signal, without the need for an additional app:
    iPhone X, 8, 7, 6S, 6, and SE (including Plus models)
    Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, S7, S7 edge and Note 8 *
Sony XZ Premium, XZ1 and XZ1 Compact*
*Android devices must be using O2 firmware in order to work with Wifi Calling.

I don't particularly want to splash on a Note 8 to replace my Note 4...which I'm still very, very happy with.

    Yup,

Reminds me I need to call Premium Support again, on the iphones on our account if try to turn on wifi calling it tells you to call support to have Tu Go turned off on the account... which I did, but the handsets still prompt with the same message.

Also, it only works on iphone SE and up, so the 5 and 5S' I still have floating around won't work.

I think it is a complete pain in the arse that it is closing down, I often used it when I had left one phone at home, was abroad (with free wifi) or areas of poor coverage (in-laws in Devon) to keep in contact with the real world.

Thankfully, the above is only limited to a few times a year and I can always avoid going to the in-laws

i hated it when i had it on my phone. Facetime and whatsapp call over wifi anyway, and any new phones can support wifi calling.

I love it on my phone, and tablet - it has been fantastic and would still be if O2 weren't withdrawing it.
FaceTime and WhatsApp don't receive calls and texts to my mobile.
Only the latest, and most expensive, phones from Apple, Samsung and Sony support wifi calling with O2.
Seeing as I use the S-Pen a lot that'd be nearly a grand on a Note 8 that I don't want to upgrade to...nothing fundamentally wrong with my Note 4.

I found Tu to be very unreliable, I'm not surprised it's getting binned.

If you found it unreliable then you can uninstall it.
I found it unreliable at first, but for the last year, at least, it has been VERY reliable for me, and considering that there is ZERO coverage in my house it is (about to be was) the only way I could receive calls and texts in my house.

I'm immensely frustrated that it is being binned, but I got my new SIMS in the post and my PAC codes will be activated on Monday with O2 losing 3 accounts from our household.

I did uninstall it. It's a shame it was so crap as I don't get any mobile reception at home either. I've been up on the roof and so reception there either so no point in fitting a booster.
