No good to me as I cant use it next year due to ULEZ. Which also means there;s no point playing round with it, doing things like the fat bar conversion etc and messing around with bikes is a big part of ownership, so it sort of became redundant. Shame, as I really do like it.

I don't see why you didn't keep it, sell the Triumph and then swap to a later 660 that is compliant.

I CBA with it as it was getting to be a sod to start. The Triumph wont sell easily and certainly wont until the weather breaks, so I need some cash back in case I see something...

Shame Honda UK didn't import the CTX700DCT, would have been right up your street.

Didn't know what one was. Googled it. Hated it.

The only bike I really like at the moment is the Africa Twin with a DCT, but I wont buy one. I have absolutely no idea what i'll buy next. Actually quite looking forward to getting back on the Triumph at the moment!

If you like the AT what about the 1200 Super ten? Must admit I don't know much about them but similar concept isn't it. Seem to remember they were silly expensive but been out a while. Think I'd prefer a trumpet 800 tiger thou

Trouble is, whenever I buy an expensive bike, I dont like running it into the ground, or leaving it parked up idle and invariably end up selling them. Bangernomics works out better for my commute. Dont think i've ever spent 10k on a bike, but if I did I couldn't imagine going out on wintry, salty roads on it, so no real point in having it!

What about a Wee Strom or a 700 Alp, later ones might beat the ULEZ... or even the 660z (if the later ones are allowed).

I'm very tempted to just get another XTX and suspect I will as i've been looking at them this morning. And KTMs! But I've just seen a nice Tmax and I haven't had one of them for a while. There's also an added advantage of having two foot positions which would help with my fooked knee.

Guy just collected it. Shame to see it go really. Very glad to have owned one of those.
