    Default Delkevic

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of these.

Just been tempted to buy something for the bike and these are pretty cheap and seem to look good

    Er6f

Getting fed up of filtering after someone with a loud exhaust only for the car to move back when the other bike has gone through...

I have one on my Bandit - come with a removable baffle - aesthetics more than anything else .
Nice sound but not too noisy

They are not a premium brand .... if that matters to you ...
But those who have them seem to like them ...

I bought a set of SS downpipes for my ancient CBR6 made by them. Fortunately there were the two of us on the fitting job, one a metal working engineer. It took some applied force with a broomhandle & a rubber mallet to get them on, but almost certainly due to my mate, it didn't actually take that long. To their credit they're still doing their job with not a hint of corrosion nearly a decade later.

So fitment might have been my concern.

FWIW on the same bike I have a Leo Vinci SBK-old circular one. Now that's a thing of titanium quality & no mistake. Must be 1/3 of the mass of the oe. Adam who was behind me reports that it's fine at lower revs but really quite fruity when going for it.

Anyhow it's loud enough to get most of the muppets on foot out of the way on a hot day during summer in Whitby, & a blip clears the rest.

I really cannot see the point of buying a brand new end can, when you can get premium for not a lot off ebay.

I had a full system on my cb500 (Alloy can) medium length, the system out lasted the bike I put it on at 78,000 ish and was still going at 254,000 all be it a bit noisier.
Had a carbon can on my VfR 750 work bike too.

All depends on what you want really a cheap can to make a bit of noise or a midrange can like an arrow which will sound more fruity.
Having been a courier in London and across the south east I don't really think a can will make that much difference unless you are going to rev it every 2 seconds.
I find I nice HID light kit helps as it shines in the mirrors and it can be seen, most car drivers in town are on the phone or have their music to loud or just don't give a fuck.

Just think high beam and blip blip.

My SV650 came to me with me of these fitted. To be honest, its finish seemed to be holding up better than Suzukis!

On Z1000s they're reckoned to be well made but a little restrictive, but we're talking about stupidly tuned Z1000s here, they look like a copy of the Kerker street pipe.

I've got a Delkevic on my Serow. Quality seems good, no problems fitting it, and it's got a removable baffle. In, it's louder than standard but tolerable; out, a bit embarrassing for a little bike.

    Thanks,

I've looked on eBay and not found any second hand exhausts. I did look...

It's the 2012 version of er6, I think you have to replace with a full system no slip on. The likes of scorpion, termi, akro etc are 500 ish or more and I don't really want to spend that on this bike. 250 I could prossibly convince myself.

Does it have to be ER6 you search for? Would one the same link diameter not do then get the bike tuned if needed.
