‘92, 65000 miles. Top box screwed to seat. Runs well, very low seat ideal for short legs, narrow so good through traffic.

HA8 6BS postcode, edgware, nw London.

Only issue seems to be clutch is worn / sticking as on initial start up the clutch plates stick so it bangs into gear. After it’s freed off it’s ok and gear change operates normally. Wheels quite tatty I think they have been sprayed in a past life and quite a lot of flaking

This still going? Does the clutch slip at all? Is there any battle damage on the bike in general? Straight bars etc.? Was it despatched?

Still got it. I bought off Julian_boolean off here

    https://www.therevcounter.co.uk/thre...400-Super-Four

Handle bars not bent, he fitted rental bars etc so all good. Whole bike pretty straight it would seem to me. Don’t know history I literally bought off Julian a few weeks ago. No clutch slip, just clunks initially. Could require clutch basket as well as plates from reading around, but there are plenty available on ebay etc. Note chain oiler is not fitted. I put the top box on and to be honest I was about to take it back off, would just need new seat cover fitting.

I changed the oil on it every 3000 miles, put new plugs and air filter in it when I bought it. It has hyper pro fork springs and oil, Hagon rear shocks, apart from that I just rode it.
Clutch used to stick if you left it for a while, I usually rocked it backwards and forwards to free it off.
I sold bit because after 2 years I wanted a bike with more power so I bought my FZ750 as my Z1170 turned out to be a bit of a handful on the road.
