WSB needs to get away from the massive stadium tracks. There's nothing sadder than seeing empty stand after empty stand (well, there is) as the riders go by. They need to move to smaller, more intimate tracks that they can fill more easily. And tracks that MotoGP doesn't go to.

And the TV quality is shite. The onboard shots are done with Cine Cameras.

Is the new Duc V4 going to be used in WSB/BSB this year?

ah well, would have been a nice mix up. I guess they need to dial it in etc for racing.

I was listening to one of the recent 'Front end chatter' podcasts and they were interviewing Julian Ryder. They asked him about the current state of WSB and what his views were. He had the opinion that there isn't a big enough market to support 2 premier world championships considering the size of the market. He also though that traditionally it was only really the UK, US, Italy and Germany that had any real interest in Supers and that this had fallen away to the UK and a little in Italy.

As opposed to the regulations to give Ducati a leg up?

I enjoyed this weekend's racing and the results this year haven't been as predictable as last year

I watched race 2 from Thailand yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the volume of racing in it. Nowhere near as processional (other than the last half a dozen laps) than the last few seasons and some different names towards the front.

It wasn't bad overall.. Wasn't amazing but was watchable for sure. Was nice to see the Honda getting it together (For Camier anyway) along with seeing the 2nd string Ducati doing well.
