    Default Razor for sale :)

Bought a 'Claymore' Single Edge razor (Version 2) a few months ago. These use a blade which is as close as you can get to the 'cut throat' shaving experience without all the faff and blood letting. The one I bought is designed by a Scottish bloke and manufactured in Scotland yet despite that it is a truly superb bit of kit and the best razor I've ever owned. I'm only selling as I'm so impressed with 'Single Edge' razors that I'm upgrading to one that's nearly three times the price, the Company that sell the Claymore are shipping it in from the USA for me and listing it as a new line.

I'm looking for 35 which includes postage

Thought I'd waste my time offering it to the hive pre-ebaying it

Looks nice, but the blades are quite expensive.

I use one of these :-

with GEM stainless surgical blades for a super smooth shave.

My previous DE was a Muhle R41 open comb used with Feather Blades which was pretty vicious, the Claymore with 'Feather Professional Super' blades is in another league. The SE blades do cost more than DE but do last a lot longer before needing replacement and are so much better.

I'll stick the 'Claymore' on Ebay

Always worth trying different blades. I've been DE shaving for a few years now and have tried just about every blade in my Edwin Jagger DE89. Best by far (for me) were Gillette 7 o'clock yellow or WS black. A WS black blade lasts me about 3 weeks and I've yet to find a smoother shave. Feather, Derby, Shark all absolutely shredded my face.
