    It depends on how much work you can do yourself, and also how lucky you get with secondhand parts, but it's pretty easy to spend 5 or 6 hundred on consumables like tyres, C&S, battery, brake pads etc. especially if you need a new exhaust.

    Yep, if anyones watched the 44teeth youtube videos where they bought an old GSXR and a ZXR. I think it was the ZXR that the previous owner had spent 1500 on new brakes, bearings and some other bits. Then sold the bike for 1500 !!

    Yeah, I don't know much about them regarding what else fits, except zx9r engines are not straightforward.. I think it should stay roughly as is but since the forks are shot...

    The rad was a 2nd hand replacement. the best and only one i could get at the time.
