    Only in a haynes manual. I think I've narrowed the problem with diagnosing it down to a lying Aldi multi metre.. #A mate with more patience for didgy electrics and a decent metre is coming round tomorrow so I'll get on with some proper work for now

    Its a G1 1999. G2 is the same.

    Right. Cannot find any accident cut-off.

    The supply to the relay* is via the Red wire (that also feeds the ignition coils) and comes from the Engine Stop switch.

    From the diagram it appears that the relay is trigged by the same black wire that goes to the coil for cylinders 1 and 4.

    The Fuel Pump is also operated by a feed on the Black/Red wire that comes from the Starter Switch. Makes sense really as this feed also operates the Starter Circuit Relay.

    The output from the relay is via the Black/Blue wire to the Fuel Pump and then to Earth via the Black/Yellow wire.


    * I refer to it as a"relay" as it is in fact an electronic device, and not an actual coil that operates contacts.

    I dont know what happened but its working again. starts reet nice now. Which is just as well as the Fazer is being lent out this weekend to a mate, and as soon as I've recovered from vets bills and such this ones going to be on the road.
